SHOOTING STARTS

We started shooting on 10th December and house clips were shot on 6th January.

Shooting Day 1:
When we reached Mina's cousin’s house to begin filming, we started by capturing scenes of the parents mourning in the bedroom. To make the crying look more realistic, they used Vicks in their eyes. This part of the shoot took about 1–2 hours because their performance was very convincing and emotional. After that, we filmed the diary scene, using a variety of shots such as over-the-shoulder and close-ups to add detail. Amal’s eerie smile scene required extra time, as we wanted to get the perfect expression that matched the mood.

Shooting Day 2:
On the second day, we went to our next location, the park. Since it was close to sunset, we had limited time and filmed until evening. One challenge we faced was capturing the footsteps shot, as it involved bending down and running at the same time, which was quite difficult. We experimented with different angles before moving on to the murder scene. Rania had to lie still while we applied fake blood to her arm to create a realistic effect. We focused on filming detailed shots of her arms and legs. As the daylight faded, we managed to wrap up the shoot successfully.
